'Led Zep' walks IIM stage

As the headlining act of the Rock Nite,Led Zeppelin performed at IIMA Chaos yesterday.Led Zeppelin, believed to be one of the greatest rock bands of the 70s.

It has been touted by critics to be the next best thing to watching Led Zeppelin live, and by some to be even better.

Touring India for the fourth time, Led Zepplica has taken the Led Zeppelin experience to several premier institutes across the country during their fests.

Taylor said, "We are playing more numbers that the crowds usually love like 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Going to California' and others."

"Only art stands the test of time. It is our duty to carry the music of Led Zeppelin forward. There are many people who love the music from their heart and I think it will only grow," said Mann on the future of the hits from the past.

Led Zeppelin made subject of iPhone app


The subject of a new application designed for the iPhone and the iPad have been made by the Legendary guitarist band Led Zeppelin.

This Day in Music app has been created by the popular team behind it, the new software has been called This Day in Led Zeppelin.

This new software contains more than 1000 pages of information on the rockers with features contains a quiz on the electric guitar band and details of every concerts they ever performed.

Along with it Led Zeppelin photographs are also provided to users, which also contains an overview of their highly-successful career and short critiques of every song they ever recorded together.

Neil Cossar, the man behind This Day in Music, said: "I had the idea of making individual apps for some of the biggest acts in the world and thought the best one to start with would be Zeppelin, because of their iconic status."

Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham celebrates the life and music of his father, here legendary of Led Zeppelin's John Bonham.

For the ZEPPELIN reunion Jason talked about the hold-out of Robert Plant; his memory turn of the 2007 ZEPPELIN concert in support of Ahmet Ertegun; and stated that fans were positive toward his JASON BONHAM'S LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE.

After performing in 38 cities the tour earned $2.1 million and broke the top 50 of trade publication Pollstar's annual top tours list. Bonham is hoped to release a second leg in the spring.

Jason described, "I never imagined we'd receive the reaction we've been getting. It's beyond my wildest dreams to come out represent my family, my father and the music of LED ZEPPELIN."

Robert Plant Dismiss Led Zeppelin


Robert Plant has clearly expressed that there will be no future dates with Led Zeppelin as he is not been further related with the Band.

The regular phone calls from fans for more shows as "a bit of a pain in the pisser" said Plant,speaking to Rolling Stone magazine.

Rober Plant had "gone so far somewhere else that I almost can't relate to it [Led Zeppelin]",explained the reason not for reuniting again.

Plant said that the band's reunion show at London's O2 Arena in December 2007 "was an amazing evening and represented all that we were trying to capture". He acknowledged that there is a continued interest in more performances, but said: "I know people care, but think about it from my angle - soon, I'm going to need help crossing the street."

Led Zeppelin playing "Black Dog"

TMD has get the rare soundboard recording of Led Zeppelin playing "Black Dog" in Mannheim, Germany on 3 June 1980.

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones wrote the classic tune's main riff. He more described: "I wanted to try an electric blues with a rolling bass part. But it couldn't be too simple. I wanted it to turn back on itself. I showed it to the guys, and we fell into it. We struggled with the turn-around, until (John) Bonham figured out that you just four-time as if there's no turn-around. That was the secret."

Led Zeppelin Drummer's Son Plays to Similar Beat

The wild Led Zeppelin drummer killed himself by drinking 40 shots of vodka in 1980, a demise that brought one of rock's biggest bands to a premature end.

His son,Jason,as a rock drummer and as a drunken rabble-rouser started following his father footsteps.When he turned 32 years-old a dozen years ago, he felt it was only natural that he should die at the same age as his father.

"I would be the party animal, wanna smash things up or throw a TV out the window because Dad had done it," Bonham recounted in an interview with Reuters.

"Just past that 32 stage, I very much nearly drank myself to death ... I remember thinking it was kinda funny: This is my year."
